Local Official Put in Jail
Marvin Hoot, EACS board member went to jail today for the MDA Lockup in Paradise fundraiser hosted by the New Haven police. Hoot was one of several members of the community to be arrested. They were to stay in jail until they raised their bail amount in pledges.
It never hurts a candidate to be involved in the community away from their elected duties.
No charges were filed against Mr Hoot in connection to his arrest.

Betcha Lightfoot wanted to see his bail revoked.
Should have been in the Allen County Jail..........he is nothing but a loser. It amazes me that his CHILDREN DO NOT ATTEND EACS, although he is a board member. They attend the CATHOLIC SCHOOLS. Marvin heavily recruits young families to attend these CATHOLIC Schools so they don't shut down!!

I find this very interesting. At one time, for personal reasons, my wife and I did have three of our adopted children enrolled in a Catholic school, so I guess I am an evil turncoat. We have adopted five special needs children. I currently have all five of our adopted children enrolled in four separate EACS schools. We also have three grown children who graduated from EACS schools. It is also interesting to find out that I heavily recruit young families to attend Catholic schools. I have never heard this one before. I support school choice. If someone wants to send their children to a non-public school then who am I to try to stop them? There will always be rumors and misstatements of fact because we are all human. I hold no ill feelings toward someone who feels such a great need to believe whatever they are told by someone. I represent the people of EACS on the board. I am not on the board for any self-serving purpose. I just like people and want to help them succeed in their chosen career path and in their life.
