Pond Will Sink Worman

Sorry, couldn't resist the pun. But it is what will probably happen in the 85th House District. Incumbants keep the job unless they prove they shouldn't otherwise. While I won't go as far to say that Pond is a great leader, she hasn't stirred up anything that makes her vulnerable.

Denny Worman isn't the statesman that his father was. He didn't take circumstances of this year's race into consideration when he filed his candidacy.

First Pond is considering retirement shortly. A little patience would have increased his odds of winning.

Second, there is the school board situation involving his sister, Terri Jo Lightfoot. There is growing concern about strong-arm tactics engaged by the EACS President in the hiring of a superintendant. The districts of both Ms. Pond and Ms. Lightfoot overlap considerable. It could be a potential campaign liability for Denny.

Can you give some good reasons as to why Denny Worman "isn't the statesman that his father was?" I see you criticizing him, but not even taking the time to explain your thoughts. Maybe you should give some REAL REASONS as to why you think the way you do. Being his daughter, I would like to know.

I have nothing against Denny. I actually like him better than Pond. Your grandfather was able to get himself elected and re-elected by sheer charisma.

Denny is seen more as an introvert. My statement came from interviews with voters within the district and a look at past election results.

That being said I do think his political philosophy is much more aligned to Republican ideals than Phyllis.

My reasons for my analysis is based on three things.

1. Conversations with voters.
2. An analysis of your Dad's prior campaigns.
3. A knowledge of voter habits.

If this doesn'tanswer your questions please email me and we can discuss this off-site.

For me to go any deeper on this at IP would not be a smart idea.
