Interesting Email
For those who wonder if the crowds at the Harrison Square meetings haven't been stacked, read this email.
If you are in favor of the Harrison Square Project, please show up at the City Council Chamber Tuesday April 17, 2007 at 5:30 in the City County Building. This will be the preliminary vote and your support is needed. Thanks for your consideration.

I received this email and was appalled that Rich would go so far out there like that.
Moving the Wizards to downtown isn't going to help. They are still going to be a mediocre team at best that will now fail to fill ANOTHER stadium that we have to pay for.
Dammit, if the Wizards want to play downtown, let THEM pay for the empty seat shrine.
If TPTB of Fort Wayne want to see results, maybe they need to stop looking at the second string and get a REAL professional team in here. If Indy can get the Colts, can't we get the Orioles?
But then, what do you expect from those who forced an "international" airport on us and lo and behold, you can barely get out of the state from it.
Welcome to Fort Wayne. Armpit of the midwest.
